First grow, Serious AK-47, NFT

Yooooo!
I've been lingering around this site like a bad smell now for a few weeks, doing some research and just generally learning stuff.
So i had some spare cash and decided to buy me some growing equipment :thumbsup:
Off the top of my head heres a list of things i bought:
1.2mx1.2m 2m tall hydrogarden grow tent
Gt 424 NFT kit
Canna aqua vega and aqua flores
600w dual spectrum HPS with reflector and ballast
Double air pump with 2 airstones
10cm Rockwool cubes
Mountain air carbon filter
Big extractor fan
Little intake fan
Thermometer, digital Ph meter, EC stick etc etc.
Oh and some Ak47 seeds from serious seeds

Im about 2 weeks into my grow now and things seem to be goin okay, ive got lots of pics to post and ill be updating regularly. Any tips, ideas or constructive criticism is welcome :D

Update, Ive got a few problems with some of my leaves! Would it be possible for someone to maybe shed some light on what it could be?

Oh and when i noticed this i checked my Ph and it was 6.9, Ive lowered it now but could this have been the problem?

what are you growing in? hydro? are you using any nutes yet?

Yeah hydro nft, im using Canna aqua vega nutes at 20ml per 10litres

If you are growing in hyrdro the. PH is your problem I'm not doing hydro but I believe the ph you should have is around 5.5

Other than that your ladies are looking great

Yeah my Ph seemed to be the problem, since its been back to normal none of the new leaves have had anything on them. My rockwool is 10cm, which is about 4 inches i think square.

Anyway heres an update, they have been in the Nft for about 2 weeks now and are having new sets of leaves every morning when i check!

in the last pic you can see ive had to tie one of them to a stick to try to make it grow straight because it was growing a bit wonky lol. Its straightened up a lot now tho, that pic was a few days ago

Plants look great after ph was adjusted! I learned just like you did just acouple weeks ago and I've learned now. Does your ph Fluctuate alot or was it just a one time problem?

It seems to be just a one time problem, like when i mix all my nutrients in and get it in the resevoir it jumps up to like 7 but once i get it down it stays there
