s.o.s expert advice needed

hi everyone....needing some help....i'm on for my second grow(my first went o.k)..i started to listen to my friend(dont know why but its done now) and put my grow on 12/12 light from week two(from seeds)i'm now on week 5 and my plants are growing very slow and the yield is going to be up to much.how can i put my light on 18/6 without stressing out my plants and if i did this could i save my yield....theirs nothing wrong with the soil,light or nuits as i'm using the same as i did on my first grow.....please help

Well i think being in 12/12 for 3 weeks would stress them for sure if you went back to 18/6 right away. You might try an cut the light little by little till you get back to 18/6, but they could still hermy up. Really any big change can stress them, i think its sorta up to the plant if its going to stress to the point of hermy. If there healthy id just finish them, and next time wait a month before flower, or at least 3 weeks. IMO id let em grow out. But im no pro for sure, so wait till a few people chime in my man.
