I don't have doctor records or insurance and I am too poor to go to a doctor for 6 months. Is there a better way? Where is the place to go for info in Portland or nearby?

From the MAMAs website: "Our criteria for acceptable medical records are in accordance with state regulations and are as follows: records must be recent i.e. within the past year in most cases, and from an M.D. or D. O. (Alternative treatment must be documented and show on-going treatment). Please limit this to a few pages. You can bring other pertinent medical records to the clinic at the time of your scheduled appointment, however we must receive your medical records prior to setting an appointment. "
So that's it? If you are too poor to have recent enough medical history you are out of luck? So what about a cash poor chronic IBS sufferer who has been self medicating with great success for 20 years? Out of luck? I have medical history but not recent. I was poor then too. I went to the emergency room, made a follow up and the doctor told me that it would probably cost thousands in tests to tell me that it was basic IBS. So what? That's it?
Great law. I guess it's good that the cancer and AIDS patients get to use it at least. Maybe I just need to get AIDS then. Sorry, I am bummed. :(

thc-f takes up to 3 years back. any MD or DO, im assuming emergency room would work. mama's only takes the last year. also thc-f offers a lower price if you have a letter showing you receive foodstamps. hope this helps.

try dr natura's colonix program. it really helps calm ur bowels among other things. take some probiotics, he sells them too. my brother takes it for rectal prolapse. there are testimonies on the site from people who have ibs. if you can afford it get the 3 month deal. saves you money in the long run. if you put in a testimony after you order they send you a free bottle of fiber. you should no longer have loose stools or constipation. its awesome stuff, ive used it myself and let me tell you I have seen lots of things come out of me. both in my pee and poo. you'll understand once you look at the site. very well worth the money.

I have tried a ton of different things, probiotcs included. Almost anything seems to exacerbate the situation. Weed does help a bit with the cramping and nausea but it helps me with so many things it's hard to put it all on that. Cookies for asthma, a vape for bowel discomfort...it sucks that it's so complicated to use an herb for healing.
Oh well, I think I gave it a try. It was fun relearning about growing weed and it wasn't a total loss. Lots of gardening knowledge as well, spring is right around the corner and I hope to get a real nice brew of beer this year with my garden harvest. So MMJ will have to wait until the law catches up with reality.

I know its very frustrating for you, im pretty sure this colonix problem will help you. after the first 3months keep taking the fiber every day. my poo was the same consistency every day, there were no surprises and it never hurt. I mixed my fiber with oj. you can take the fiber twice a day if you need to. i only took it once a day. my brother takes it twice, once before bed.

I have IBS, but I learned if I cut out all carbs...not just a few, all carbs, I do MUCH better. I really don't think the cannabis helps my IBS. I take it for other reasons. Might give it a try. It sucks not being able to eat lasagna....Garfield would croak.

yes I have heard that going gluten free and dairy free helps the ibs also.
