I am in the process of doing a bit of research about getting the medical marijuana card... I am looking for info. that will tell me the cons of having one.
First of all, once you get the prescription what and where do you go with it to actually get the card?
Does having a card affect health insurance and/or life insurance policies?
Does it go into some medical data base, to where the info can get to insurance companies?
If you go say to a chiropractor and receive prescription- it is not then in the "regular" medical history file with regular doctor, right???
Myself and a few of my friends ages 38-50 yrs. old are trying to figure out if we want to go this route or not. Most of health insurance, good jobs, and life insurance policies... DO we need to be worried about these issues with being a "holder" of a card?
I do live in Santa Cruz County... Any info. from someone that knows the facts about this- I would really appreciate any/all info. you can share with me.
Thank you so much!
