Hello to all my fellow Washingtonians :)
We are starting our first grow and we were blessed to have a Green Thumb angel to get us some Neville's Haze. So the past couple days weve had 3 seeds germin' in wet paper towels.
Here are some pics taken today.

I just started my seed 5 days ago. Its fun, im just doing 1 of my 11 seeds i got at the moment, just was curious if where i got the seeds was a viable source. To my suprise, i germinated 1 seed and its already from peat moss pucks into a cup with a premium soil mix i made myself. I hope your grow goes well. Here is my little sprout of DaPurps!!!

It looks like they are streching a lot. when u transfer u should burry them all the way up to the starter leaves. otherise ur plant will be really lanky

Know you have to find out whether they're male or female.
Let them get good and healthy and then take a clone off of each, veg them for a couple weeks and then through them into flower and see what you got.

or one could keep them close to the lights no less than an inch away if using flouros or t5s. this prevents them from reaching for the lights. also promotes earlier branching. just make sure your soil stays moist

meded so you can mededicate to mededitate

Hi, good times ahead guaruuunteeed :) Looks good. Stretching could be an issue, like the other cat said. From personal experience, I have recently used T8's to grow in veg. The thing with CFL is that you have to get your little ladies as close as damn near possible without touching the light. I used a small room fan, (one you put on your desk or any table to keep you cool in the summer) that blew a nice breeze directly on them. This keeps a good airflow circulating air around the the plants. I read a book a while back and experimented a little with CFLs. I noticed that you can get the t8 bulbs to about 5 inches away, ( I actually I used the extremely scientific method of placing my hand under the light to see how low I could get the light....OK so, its not so scientific I wanted to sound more sophisticated hahaha.) without worry of burning your ladies. Keep me posted

So over the Vday Weekend my AMAZING Valentines built an Ebb and Flow System all found at your local HD. Then cupid shot some amazing clones our way, some advanced ones too :)

Wow JoshDub, looks like a sweet set-up. You should start a grow log in the grow logs section here so we can all follow your progress! :stoned:

Excellent advice. And, the buried portion will root naturally per my experience.

they are... there under cfl right now... when we put em under hps that should help cut down on stretching shouldnt it?
