So I've been using the GH 'Flora' series nutrient schedule.
I've been following the feeding schedule thats printed on the backside of the container, ( i was just trying to keep it simple)
(Grow-1 tspn/gal...Micro-2 tspn/gal....Bloom-3 tspn/gal).
Tap waters not too bad here so Im using that, and also saving the trouble of adding cal/mag.
I started with rooted clones, vegged for 5 days, and now in the 5th week of flowering. So far everythings been great, and I haven't had any problems.
All the ladies are between 24"-28" and flowering nicely,no yellowing, no drooping, everything looks good, nice healthy buds.
So I was at my local hydro shop today to pick up a 'bloom enhancer' to try to kick up the yield a little bit and I had a long talk with the guy about my feeding schedule. He told me that I should definately not be using the feeding schedule on the bottle. Instead he reccomended that I use the 'Lucas GH schedule'.....
(G= grow, M=micro, B=bloom)
(ML/GALLON)
The reccomended change....
GH schedule
G- M- B
5-10-15
switch to...
Lucas schedule
G- M- B
0-8-16
...which is cutting out the 'Grow' altogether and only using the 'Micro' and 'Bloom'. As for the bloom enhancer, I've heard alot of good things about 'Kool Bloom' and Botanicare's new 'Hydroplex Bloom Maximizer' for hydro and coco/soiless. He was all over the new Hydroplex and said that it would work great with the 'Lucas' Feeding Schedule.
My big questions for anyone willing to help is...
has anyone used the Lucas GH Method??
has anyone used the Lucas GH Method using kool bloom or hydroplex??
any reccomendations, suggestions, or any feedback would be much appreciated? Just trying to learn as much as I can.
