I am going to be going through the whole process, I am having my records sent to my Doctor and then after that having all of these records sent to MAMA in Portland. I emailed her and she said it appears I have a qualifying codition but to get my records sent to her so they could schedule me an appt.
I know OMMP mails it's verification letters and cards to applicant addresses, my only problem is that I live with my parents who are not really pot friendly at all. They will for sure think that it will agitate my schizophrenia I know it will not, but it will cause a big mess.
Can I pick the card and papers up at DHS? Has anyone ever done this? I looked online and couldn't really find much info about it.
I want to grow my own but my parents will not allow it at there house, so I am going to need to find a caregiver as well. Hopefully one that my parents will never have to know.
Then when I save up enogh cash from working a new job I think I will move out and have a pot friendly roomate and be my own caregiver.
This is assuming I get the card but the person I spoke with at MAMA's put my mind at ease. Even though I don't take painkillers I do suffer from chronic back pain and insomnia.
Thanks for listening.
