WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THIS

Whats up guys Im getting ready to start my second grow and was wondering what you guys think I got 2oz off of each plant the first grow using 5 1,000 hps lights in foxfarm soil in 4 gallon pots vegged for 4 weeks after first set of fan leaves from seeds This round Im using 7 1,000 watt hps lights foxfarm soil in 5 gallon pots and will veg them for 4 weeks from seeds just like the first grow Do you guys think I will have a good shot to better the 2 oz per plant

I think that if you had 5000watts of light, you would yield way more then 2 ounces per plant. .. Confused. What are you feeding them? lol. (at all?) How many plants?

Depends a lot on the strain, different strains yield different amounts in different conditions. For example 'big bud' make yield 3 oz's with your setup but super lemon haze may only yield one in the same conditions.

All those lights must be using up a lot of electricity. Good look with the police !

I just finished a grow using Fox Farms ocean forest soil +20% perlite, followed and used FF feeding schedule, and added 1/4 tsp. of Humbolt Hydroponics "Gravity" (wks. 7&9).
I also tried LST. Tallest plant at harvest was 17 1/2" from soil to top. Average weight per plant was just over 2 1/2 oz of dry manicured sticky bud (Purple Grand Daddy)

That seems a lot of light for 2 oz per plant .
But what do i know?

I only run 1 600hps and i expect the same yield.

The strian was big bud 60 plants and I fed them fox farm nutes so you think I under harvested It was my first grow

How many lights were you using and what size pots

Big bud's a good strain. Nothing wrong with 2 ounces dired and cured per plant. Big buds don't like to get very big, they produce very well at less than 2 feet. I've seen professional growers like Jorge Cervantes only get 1/2 to 1 ounce per plant but he flowers them real early so they're less than 2 feet tall. And Big buds don't seem to respond all that well to scrogs or fimming.
