Objective:
Recruit lobbyists

I'm a different type of lobbyist
Hm.. What does a lobbyist do? Lobbying means any action that could influence a decision. We need to set our objectives to lobby the people first to influence their decision to show their support for cannabis.

When I started using cannabis, there wasn't even the idea of medical marijuana- all use was ABUSE! :(

Now, between 60 and 90% of the people support medical use and 14 states have some form of MMJ. The difference is education. Every person who changed their mind about medical use was educated, either by a friend or relative teaching them, or they read enough to form a new opinion.

As an educator and medical cannabis user, I feel that education is the only sure path to legalization. To help people learn about cannabis, I have made a compilation of hundreds of links to medical studies and articles. Please feel free to use my "Granny Storm Crow's MMJ Reference List" to help educate others. See my sig for a link to it.

If you would like a free copy of my list, please send an email to-

i.wantgrannyslist(at)greenpassion.org

It is usually sent in WORD format, but PDF is also available if you ask for it. Best of luck to you.

Sumtin tells me you aren't that old, cutie.

Some of the original patients the feds allowed for and provided cannabis to are from back in the seventies.

And before Anslinger and his fellow nutbags, it was also considered medicinal in many applications by large populations- predominantely folks from south of the boarder and others of color.

But I get what you're saying; over the last several decades we seem to have had a real increase in all these loons who profess all drug use of any kind is ABUSE.

Nice to meet you Storm Crow.

Thank you for your contribution on building a collective of cannabis research.
I'm also interested in cannabis research. I think there is so much more to this plant then meets the eye. That resin is so complex that it could take many years of study and still yield new discovery.

My birth certificate is dated July 30, 1947! I will be 63 this year and I began toking in the 1960s. I have used cannabis for over 40 years.

And believe me, in the 60s, the previous, pre-1937 medical use was all but forgotten! Kids my age got to watch "Reefer Madness" and other "gems" like that in school- and they were shown for their "educational value"- not as an amusement! People used to get LIFE for a single joint in some states! A few seeds could get you 20 years in California! I remember those days. You guys have no idea.......

I just saw something that may give you an idea what it was like! Check this out! -

Keep Off the Grass | Ephemeral Films | Veoh (http://www.veoh.com/collection/ephemeralfilms/watch/v65189482Ww527WT#)

I actually watched some of those films in school! If you haven't seen them, prepare for some culture shock! lol

And thanks for the "cutie"! ;) A gal always likes sweet talk!
