Thank you in advance for any and all advice or recommendation.

No.

There are no "prescriptions", only recommendations as Marijuana is still a federal class 1 drug.
You need to check Philippine law to see if MMJ is allowed.

Hey, Dennis from Montana

I know that

I've done that

The constitution here permits MM for medication.

If it's called a "recommendation", than who can I contact for same?

Can't you get the recommendation from your local doc?
Does RP law accept cards/recommendations from other countries/states?
How would you show a "doctor/patient relationship" as required by state's laws?

You could look search the posts, NORML, individual state's MMJ communities and contact the docs listed to see if they are willing.

OK, will do, thanks Dennis. The reason I don't ask a Pinoy doctor here is I don't want anybody locally to "know I grow", nobody hassles or looks for here but I want the recommendation juuuust in case.

Heres the Philippine law straight from the constitution:

(a) Administer. â?? Any act of introducing any dangerous drug into the body of any person, with or without his/her knowledge, by injection, inhalation, ingestion or other means, or of committing any act of indispensable assistance to a person in administering a dangerous drug to himself/herself unless administered by a duly licensed practitioner for purposes of medication.

Doctors are required to personally examine patients before prescribing medication. So called "internet doctors" have gotten in trouble for prescribing Viagra via email to people they had never met. Even detailed emailed questionaires don't meet the standard of personal examination. I'm pretty sure it will be the same or even more so with pot recommendations.

I might just have to take that Manila-Los Angeles flight and get examined and get that MM card.
I'll call it my victory flight, after all these years I'll finally get to smoke without getting treated like a criminal.
Been out of the states for years, do they still speak English in California?

They never really did speak that much "Ennglish" out in Kalifornia. But most of us have learned to roll with it over the years.

Why the hell would anyone in the Philippines care whether or not you have a Kalifarnia medical cannabis card?

Hey, do they still speak Spanish in the Philippines?

thats what i was thinking... and i thought you have to be a citizen of the state for so long before you can qualify? because if that was the case, then what would stop a bunch of people from all over the country going to california to get their card and go back to their own state to smoke "legal" weed?

Also, your free to go elsewhere with that asinine political crap.

Don't go away mad, just go away.

That quote is only the definition of "administer". If you read the text of "Republic Act No. 9165 Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002", you would have to have a prescription by a doctor on DOH forms.
