Anyone else feel like what your parents want for you isent the best thing or the thing that you want for yourself? I love my parents but sometimes I cant take it...its just so freaking frustrating!!! Heres whats happend: I never used to try hard in school and my parents never really made me sit down and do my HW. Now that i do do my HW my mom has been yelling at me saying I dont do my hw enough...and then today im trying to get some weed and when I just have the chance she doesent want me walking just down the street to meet my dealer, she says its dark outside when its NOT!!! But thats all straightened out cuz I told my dealer to meet me elsewhere. Anyway, my parents are cool sometimes but they piss me off alllllll the time!!!!!!!!! They still seem to think im a little girl and that i've never felt real pain. BULLSHIT!!! First of all, I havent always been living with my mom so she has no right to tell me I've never felt pain. Secound of all, WTF im a human being!!! How the hell havent I ever felt pain?? i dun get it but she seems to think it makes perfect sense. What do you guys think about your parents?

What they bitch about will hit you later in life, trust me. Just let it roll off your back, not in a disrespectful way though. Your young, life's too short to be stressing about their bitchin' like that. They only care ya know :)

after becoming a mom myself i now realize what the responsibility is of raising a child the best way i know how. just like thcbongman said, "What they bitch about will hit you later in life". i know what they did/said seems like a life-threatening situation, but you have to trust what your mom is saying. just do your best and you'll see the results as you get older.

About a year ago i moved away from my parents house. Thye seem to respect me a lot more for livin away from home and doing things individually. I used to hate my parents while living at home but im actually findin them to be reasonable ppl now that iv bcome older and wiser :D (plus im not living with them).

I'm glad I have the parents that I do. They found the right balance, I believe, between letting me do what I want and making sure I don't put myself in danger. They asserted their authority on the important things like letting them know where I was at all times, being respectful and tolerant of all people, not doing things that might burn the house down, etc. But other than that they pretty much let me make my own decisions, especially as I got into my teens and they acknowledged that with maturity comes responsibility. I first found out they smoked weed when I was 16 and a year later they let me try it, so that was never a problem.
Because of all this, I never really had a rebellious phase like a lot of teenagers do. I had nothing to rebel against. They fed me and housed me for free, and always respected my privacy. They guided me while letting me live my own independent life. I guess I got lucky.

But its the stupidest shit she comes up with that pisses me off.
I get what you're sayin kinda.
Most of the times my mother has accused me of smoking was when I havn't. For instance she will tell me that 'my pupils look big', nevermind that smoking cannabis doesnt noticably change the size of your pupils or she will randomly tell me it smells like smoke.
I am sure my parents suspect I have smoked weed, my mom would be the only one to care. It doesn't matter how many restrictions she tries to put on me, I can almost always get around them.

the only thing my mum really gets pissed off about is me puffin in my room, she says she doesn't like the smell in my room, but that's bollocks, coz she smokes more than i do!

Awww that just almost brought a tear to my eye. :o
But I think what bothers me most (I dident mention this) is that they havent noticed how much I have changed. I guess I did something int he past to make them think they cant trust me. But i've changed and im diffrent now. Im not so afraid of the world as I once was. I've been trying to make them realize in the little time we get to spend together. I dunno what to do...
