I live in western Maryland, in a rural area about 10 minutes from a small city. I have had a plant growing in my window for over a month now but im planning to transfer it outside. It's still cold outside, infact it snowed the other day. I am not a professional grower. My friend just gave me some seeds from the best weed he's gotten that had seeds. I only water it with regular water and it's not doing too bad. There are about 10 visible jagged leaves. I was planning on making a ritual out of it and me and my buddies get some blunts and plant it on April 20, but I would like to do it sooner if possible. What kind of temperatures will I need for a successful grow, and when about should I harvest?

You want temps to be over 60 at minimum, unless the plant's well established like twice the size yours is now from my experience. Be careful, it won't start budding till June or July so it's going to get huge. I started plants in Feb a few years ago and by Aug they were over 7' tall. Harvest will be sometime from end of Sep through Nov, depending on type & temp since you live in a cold area. Read up man, there's a lot of info on this site & those are super basic outdoor ?'s...

It depends entirely on how well you care for it. you could see upwards of a pound if you keep it healthy.

The Marijuana function best in moderate temperatures - between 60 and 85 degrees. Both excessively high and low temperatures can slow marijuana's rate of metabolism and growth.

Soil temp should be above 50 degrees.......think if a tomato plant will do well, so will the cannabis. The cold nites will kill it now.
