The toronto Sun has been running a 2 page article (running article total of 14 pages) by Dan Gardner extolling (mostly) the virtues of Cannabis, and the pitfalls and downright "rights abuse" of prohibition. Was also covered on CityTV ;)

Sounds like there gonna make a synthetic drug to replicate the effects. Which is a shame realy. But i guess the goverment cant have everyone turning into "dope fiends".

the largest radio station 104.1 KRBE (shitty pop. music) was talking about it on the morning show along with 3 other stations...the faggy ass DJ at KRBE said " well, me myself, im 100% drug and alcohol free, becuase i want to live life without addictions, but i guess everything has an up side to it after-all, even the pitfalls of modern society like drugs"...what a mis informed asshole i have the right mind to call him up one day and have a nice city wide disscussion on marijuana and make him feel like a dumb ass

Do that, man. Fucking DO that!

Consider yourself an educator. I only wish my town had a stupid DJ who begs for it like your guy apparently does.

And from FOX station in Texas nonetheless (neither is known for having very liberal attitudes). Impressive. But still, it's vastly outnumbered by those lies propagated for a "drug-free America" (as if that were an attainable goal). It's interesting that they think a "drug-free America" includes caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, Prozac, Viagra, nitrous oxide, etc etc etc.

or is the government working hard to make sure marijuana, for recreational use, stays illegal. I might try to find out who funded the research. NIH???

Guess I should introduce myself. I'm a new member and thought I'd try just jumping in instead of waiting in line.

Tasty Mango tonight.

Welcome Meduser!
The government have too many incentives to not legalise weed so I still believe itll be a while before legalisation is even considered but its good to see a step in the right direction.
