Check out the laws of your state!!! Did you know that in "some" states it's legal for the police to go through your trash? When it's set out on the curb it's considered as being "public property" and because of that the do-right-brothers don't need such messy things as search warrents.

A couple of seeds or stems combined with the word of a narc could land ya in a pile of shit....take it from someone that's just gone through the process! When ya clean your stash.....flush your waste or take it to a trash can far from your home.

Absent a statute preventing it, it is legal in all states. The 4th amendment is based upon a "reasonable expectation of privacy." I don't think an argument that you have any expectation of privacy, let alone a "reasonable" one, in a can or bag of trash that YOU PUT OUT ON THE SIDEWALK FOR ALL TO SEE AND SMELL, can be made with a straight face. Good advice though. My last drop was at a dentist's office about 5 miles from my house, and it is always different.
