This is not a joke, so please take me very seriously. I have a step by step plan in development to taxate, regulate, and legalize the cannabis plant for the better benefit of the United States Government. Also, the plan I have does not limit the benefits of legalization to only creating a new market boosting global economy, there are other benefits as well. Such as:

- Reshaping the lumber industry, and by doing so preserving wild life.

- Diminishing Drug Cartels by pulling their major sorce of funding and increasing the police budget with new income from the plant.

- Decreasing synthetic drug use in teens and children by keeping it away from other black market products.

- Creating new jobs for American citizens, by doing so we are recirculating money even further for the U.S. economy

- Reshaping the clothing industry

- Making more durable paper by harvesting full cannabis plant, and rather than harvesting forrests and rain forrests we can just harvest farms. Selling off bi-products at a cheaper price than the price of land used for clear cutting we would gain funding and save money for companies. In which case companies could pay employees more, recycling the money even further into the economy. ( using this business tactic on all markets that would be affected by the production of products made by the part of the plant other than the bud could boost the economy in a major way, as well as be a very good way to pull funding for cannabis farms)

- By preserving live forrests and growing more plant life on farms, oxygen would be more abundant counteracting co2 and helping the o-zone.

- Finding a new energy source, fuel, from chemicals found in the plant, lessening our need for more fossil fuels, that do not regenerate as fast as cannabis.

- Re-establish prison space not taken up by cannabis users to hold POWs, terrorists, rapists, murders, drug lords, etc.

- Decreasing street crime by not letting the plant become a product of the drug war any further.

- Further discover the medical use of this herbal medicine with nearly no risk of side effects or dependency.

- Decreasing immigration (in the sense of not letting the criminal immigrants into our country)

- Increasing tourism with the cannabis culture. (It plays a major role in tourism for Amsterdam)

The benefits are truly endless, and from such a small change. I am very business savi and I know near everything about the cannabis product , (the best ways to grow healthy plants, the best way to market it, product detail, most cost effecient and productive ways for growth, what products can be made from the full plant, how to shape it into a stable new market, how to keep it effectively away from the black market, etc.) I would more than willingly take complete charge to make this project a complete success to all the benefits listed above ESPECIALLY making sure it is never to be involved with any form of the black market, any scams or any type foul play. This is a plant that grows from the earth and can be harvested for the good of man-kind. The black market should have never had this product to begin with. Let it be legal, put me in charge, help me with funding and drawing the bill, and let it work.

Sincerly,
Chris

That is great info if only we could broadcast it, but the only problem is that there are way to many old ppl in the government that follow the book and will never hear our voices.

unfortunately, gov already knows all this. they are not without their studies. take for example the study our beloved USA did in the 80's that concluded that compounds in thc halted or slowed the growth of some cancers and tumors...shelved it and put people in prison instead. meanwhile, present time other countries are studying it and USA is looking into it. I know the ama is inerested due to their recent reversal in mmj's classification of no medicinal value, which has not changed since the 30's. dea still holds steadfast and will continue until prodded by 51% of the AMERICAN PEOPLE or more. the time for change is this...open the doors and educate people, i personally correct everyone i hear spouting off nonsense about mj. you should hear some of the calamity:D well latas gotsa go:thumbsup:

Thanks for the positive feed back guys, I put this on another forum and the hate mongers have been trying to tear me down with a passion. I use to have a little bit of hope in people for legalization, now I don't know where it's going. Having this product unused and on the streets, though, is some serious bull. And there are a lot of serious silver tongued morons out there either going the wrong way with legalization or trying to keep it illegal.

no amount of letters is going to change anything no matter how well intended.
51% of the people will do it.

that requires education so every ill post, conversation, thought needs to be corrected with truth and humility. remember it took 80 years to get where we are. how many people would be pissed as hell to find out that their mums could have had a few more years of peaceful living if mj could have slowed or halted their cancer. the other half of our planet thats who.

Yes but also understand that we as a nation turned from being a relatively free people as it relates to the ingestion of much of these currently unlawful substances to captives of the prohibitionist state ALMOST OVER NIGHT.
