The edible card is widley know as untested... many people dont understand them or know how legal they are: The main thing about these cards is you will not be allowed to carry raw marijuana (buds) on you... you will only be allowed to have edibles, or extracts on you... If you were to get pulled over and had say 10 oz ... you would need to be very well spoken and lucky to explain to the police officer that you are on yr way to "bake" or make extracts....

With this said I deal with a vendor at my club who was pulled over by an unmarked police car and told" we have reason to belive you have a major grow operation in your house and we have a search warrant... well they came in and searched found his 100 plant grow, he showed them his patients edible cards as well as his own..... the cops were pissed as hell saying" your not gonna be eating all this" but the "vendor" was smart enough to step right up and explain to the uneducated DEA that to make potent edibles or worthwile extracts you need large amounts of marijuana.. and yes infact all the plants would be used in this fashion...

Well the cops packed up and left without touching a sinlge plant... investigation over....

Oh ya they did write him a ticket your illegal power consumption? (not sure if he spiced past the breaker or not (NOT RECCOMENDED)

the cards are good... just know yr shit when you need to explain it

Jason, Thanks for the info! Is this card an actual ''edible card'' issued by the state? Or moreso just a doctor recomendation? Sorry for all the questions, I have tried to read up online about this and I have had no luck.

it's just a doc recomendation nothing to do with that state.and it's a 50/50 shot that it will protect you. i have had 2 lawyers 1 of the top lawyers to be exact told me to stay away from it for now as it's not safe and will not protect you under the law.now it could help somewhat if u ever went to court over it maybe depends on the judge and you better have a good reason. but to answer your ?? does it protect you? no it's not in the law and it's in that grey area and depends on the leo that comes. so no there is no edibles card...

The card itself is exactly the same, regardless of whether your recommendation is for a higher plant count. The higher plant count is based on the language in the amendment allowing larger than the specified amounts if "medically necessary." It does put you into an affirmative defense situation rather than a bar to prosecution, which is not a good thing. The defense could also be presented even without a higher plant count being on your recommendation. In either case you would still have to present evidence of medical necessity.
