There is a new business that is renting 5' x5' (25 sq ft ) and 5' x 10'grow lockers for individual medical MJ patients to grow their own plants in. We have a very limited number of 10 x 20 rooms as well.

The facility is secure and each locker will have its own lock and key, ventilation and electical. The price is $179/month + $10 per light. With that, the electricity is included. Water is available on site as well

What do you guys do for insect control?

I'd be kinda worried about spider mites running rampant... if someone isn't very attentive to their plants.

We will periodically P-bomb the common areas. However, the ultimate responsibility is with each person. Colorado has spider mites. If they aren't on your plants, it is likely because you are doing preventative measures to keep them out, as all should.

We will inspect every new plant that comes in and will have ultimate right of refusal for any plant based on inspection.

yea will there be a sub panel box for each room? cause i know i'd need atleast a 40 amp breaker on 8 g wire to hook up my 6 plug 240v box.

I think the concept was good but it looks like it may already be kaput. It would need to have quite a tight security setup to be successful.

The Grow Locker is not kaput by any means. I am sorry you didn't get a call back. We are signing up new tenants daily. There will be security monitoring of the premises 24-7, and access is limited to our tenants only.

Each individual locker is a framed room with a locked door. If someone were to break in, they get to choose between door 1 through door 100 to break into to hope to find some finished product to steal.

Full alarm system with motion detection is in place as well.

And yes, I have been approached by insurance companies that do insure crops from theft. I don't have details, but I know that they are out there.
