The good thing is its just an executive order which can easily be changed when new management enters the white house. But while this thug is in power he can certainly wreak havoc.
When appointed, the Council will be reviewing such matters as involving the National Guard of the various States; homeland defense; civil support; synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States; and other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities.
No problem with the military helping civilian forces, but the second they carry firearms they've violated the posse comitatus act. And as such are enemy combatants and have violated the constitution. You could imagine what happens from there.
