so much for not getting nothing passed lmao.when the powers at be want to do something your voice means squat.

and for those that think well im not in denver so that don't effect me...yea right just wait.it's called the trickle down effect.the lil boys on the block wait to see what the big dog does then they make there move.

btw this is just the foot in the door.iv'e had people email me saying they don't give a fuck cause it's mainly hitting the shops.so they don't see whats the big deal.well for those of you that don't know how the gov works i'll tell ya.it's called baby steps, thats how they work.they get there foot in the door on any issue thats connected to what they really want to get to.then in baby steps just enough to get under you skin each time but not really enough to make you do to much.then 1 day people are scratching there lil heads saying wtf happened.

I have never seen a public hearing so crowded and for 93 speakers words to fall on deaf ears is beyond me....I really thought with the showing last night that they might have changed their mind.

Im really sad to see the no consumption law pass, as many of our patients prefer to sample medicine and relax in our vapor lounge.

Hopefully this will be challenged in court and the litigation that many had promised last night will surface....

i just love how the news keeps linking every bad thing in co to pot.can we say agenda?

i was reading the lil chat blogs on the story at bottom of page and thats funny.shows me just how many dum dums are out there.1 guy said that he thinks all pot head should go to prison.that 1 pothead walked up to him and said hi and it scared him so he had to go get drunk to forget it lmao.

i know 1 reason beer is legal,so the leo can have something to drink while they bust people.leo are true scum for the most part.i know a few leo's and this one would get off work get drunk while driving then 1 time bought a hooker and got a room.got f'd up on boozes and ended up leaving his gun and badge in the room.lmao how great our leo is.

I agree with what your saying palerider. However the city counsel made it clear they were doing this yesterday. It wasn't nearly as nasty as Romers bill either. This just got over shadowed by the Romer bill.

To me this is also exactly what they said they would do in Denver. Tax the dispensaries, Force an insane license fee on them and limit where they can open a dispensary.

So, Per the norm. The local government is playing FEDERAL games.

You see. It's common practice to have a lesser bill. Which is over shadowed by a bigger nastier bill come to a vote, Close to if not right at the same time. This way the nasty bill gets defeated and all the people feel like they WON! Then quietly pass the lesser bill and inform the people how great this bill was. Adding how it received SO little bad press that it's obviously a step in the right direction.

It's always a good idea to look into what the Government is doing today or this week, When you see stupid stories as "top" news that day or week as well. A good example would be the federal laws passed the same week Britney Spears shaved her head!

yea it's weird is it not? the law states that it can't be in public so how is going to a vape lounge a bad thing?just another way to control.im telling you someones pushing there weight around somewhere.i think alot of it has to do with leo wanting more power back.

get rdy folks for that 5 patient limit, brought to you by duba duba duba thats all folks.this has been a gov production all trade marks used here forth approved by ricky bobby inc.

From my understanding is that a CAREGIVER can not have more than 5 patients.

If you caregive for MORE than 5 patients, you have to have a MMD liscense.

Thats the way i read it to. Pay to play. Going to create alot of money for Denver. Which in turn can be used to our favor down the line.

all good man...I dont think these new regs will lower prices at all..I see caregivers spending more money on attorneys and state fees to cover there ass...and in turn I hate to say it..the patient will pay for it one way or another. Thats just how business has always worked. The only upside to all the fees we'll pay is the big influx of money the state will see. Which later on will legitimize our industry a bit in the eyes of the powers that be. I dont like it or agree with it..but sadly that is the way it working right now.

The five patient rule was in Romers bill that is now dead. The exact phrase in the Denver post is:

State Senator Chris Romer (D-Denver) tells the Denver Post that Rep. Tom Massey (R-Poncha Springs) will likely introduce a bill that would put a five person limit on the number of patients a pot provider, or caregiver, can serve.

Romer plans to support a different bill which would more strictly define the relationship between doctors and their marijuana-seeking patients.

This was not in yesterdays bill. It says these people PLAN to introduce these in FUTURE bills.

Sounds good to me. I support that bill 95% percent (except for the on-site consumption). Good job city council!!!!! I hope they regulate the shit out of it, it will just mean that it will be around for good if they can get it all organized. As they say "if your complaining about $2,000 fee and a $3000 a yr. we don't want you in Denver.
