why is my plant so small?

well i am a first time grower but i know my basic and what not but for some reason when i germinated two seeds in soil the sprouted at the same time but one is very short and the other is at 5 inchs and its about week 3. does anyone have any clue as to why its so small?

genetics probably, indicas are short and bushy, sativas are lengthy. If you ordered the seeds, there should have been a description of the type of plant it was, if they were bag seeds, well, it's a surprise!

Either way, no worries, as long as they look healthy ie. green leaves and stems, straight leaves ect., that's all that really counts.

i really dont think they are from the same plant cuz the short one already had 7 finger leaves and the other has 5. plus the five finger plant is tall and spaced between nodes.

well mine was small for a longg time untill i added more lights
it was probably 3 inches inches in a monthh. it was slow as hell.
as soon as i added more lights tho i was raising them everyday because it was getting so big.
so maybe you need more light? idk man
