Hello all!
I got my start on these forums and all the help I received has made a huge difference in my growing. I try to repay the favor by offering advice but I'm not very eloquent :wtf: So in lieu of advice I figured I would show the new guys what can be accomplished in little less than a year! And a little porn for you pro's :D
I started with 1 single 600 watt hps, a fan and a filter.. Since then I have gone to 2x 600 watt and recently switched to 2 x 1000 watts, thats whats in these pics. I have a seperate veg room with about 24 plants in there, I'm using an old 600 watt ballast and using a 600 watt mh conversion bulb. The flower room in these pics has 24 plants in there, 3 seperate sections at different stages of flowering. I was yielding about .65 grams per watt. Trying to get to the coveted 1 gram per watt..ergo the 1000 watters :rastasmoke:
The plants are all Stoned Rhino, except for 4 g-13 x haze cross plants and 1 f-13 i got from a freind.. it has the weird leaves in the front of the pic. The large buds are about 40 days into flower. I use all the fox farm nutes and keep to their feeding schedule.. roughly.
Anyway, just wanted to show the new guys what is possible when you read.. alot! And pay attention to the advice given. You have to make adjustments as you go but eventually you get your own groove and rock on from there.
Peace!
enjoy the pics!

Very nice! Thanks for the pictures, it really shows whats possible. I am using Fox Farm's Oceans Forest and only recently have begun Tiger Bloom, mixed according to thier chart. Second week flower, 12/12, so far so good. Would you have any recommendations? I'm in a 5X5 dedicated situation, using 400W HPS.

Haha, me too! Everything's so nice and neat! Great work keeping the canopy pretty even, that's a BIG help towards getting the max out of your plants and area. Hoping you get your 1g/w or more!

LOL on the nap mat :) Thanks for the kind words everyone! Growing has become hobby and my passion.. for now :)
WCG, only advice I can give without seeing your setup is nutrient advice.. Though foxfarm isnt the "best" nutrients available, they work very well. I would recommend you try using the full line for your grow. Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Grow big. In concert they produce excellent results, also using the solubles has shown me marked gains in results. Open sesame helps the plants begin flowering, if your in your second week of 12/12 you can increase the speed and bud sites with a dose of it. Beastie Bloomz is the one I realy like, about the 2nd week for me i start with that and man do the buds explode! The buds in my pics up there are 40 is days in flower, before beastie bloomz it too 50 days for them to look like that. The final is cha ching, this helps with resin production and kicks in a late push to swell the buds in the last 2 weeks, basically mine double in size and density. The strain Stoned Rhino (not currently available to the public, as far as i know) produces so many trichs that even the fan leaves go into the bucket for hash :) Im going to be trying out the House and Garden line of nutes, freinds say it doubles quality and yield!! saving up for that, it's pricey.
peace!

I'm a caregiver for mmj patients.
That is very nice to hear.
There's always the satisfaction of growing your own, but that gets multiplied when you have the chance to help others. I'd be in the same boat if the laws were different here. Maybe some day...

Thanks Bigtops, doing what I can to help :) It makes a big difference in quality of life for some people.
Maingrowm, Thanks for the kind words :) Not sure what you mean on how I got there but suffice it to say, I have a good job and make a little more than an average income (thank GOD! ) so I was able to start off with the right equipment. Having the right equipment makes a world of difference when trying to get good fast.
The meds I grow are a strain given to me by a friend that I can never share the genetics for, it is top quality herb. Looks, smell and taste are on a level very rarely seen around here and the medicinal quality of the stone is off the charts! Clear, relaxing and uplifting. It is a pleasure to grow. I charge very little to my patients, just enough to cover the expenses, they are somewhat high due to the price of freeking electricity around here! But all is good.
I set up the flower room with simple 2x4's and $80 dollars a roll plastic. White on one side and black on the other. The walls are double layered so white shows on the outside and in... obvious reasons for white inside. I have a below ground garage that I can keep at a reasonable temp with a small ceramic heater and a 10,000 btu portable ac unit (season dependent). Cutting holes in my house for exhaust vents made me shutter a little but... needed.
I use a blend of pro mix and fox farms ocean forest as a medium. I use 2.5 gallon pots ( tried a run with 2 gallon bags....dont like em, to unstable for weighty plants) I use the full fox farm line of nutrients, they work well and are nowhere near as expensive as some others.
Thank you for all the kind words :)
peace.
