advise needed

Not being a very experienced grower,i had a few nice crops my last one turned to seed,any way ive got four congo haze fem seeds 4 w widow perp seeds,4 f1 seeds four northern light perpel seeds 4 xiva and 6 mixed.I wasent them by a friend who works in amsterdam as he obtains them easily off friends but doesnt have a clue about growing.My Dilema is What is F1 What Does perp mean and perpel,these were written on pots by a dutch man any help would be appreciated many thanks

Perp and perpel I'm assuming mean purple, or sometimes purp for short. F1 means it's a first generation cross, so there might be lots of variation between the plants.
