I continue to debate whether to transplant, or just leave them alone.
I have a dozen or so girlz that are in 3.5 sqare pots, 5 inch deep. They are a month into flowering and three feet tall. They've been in those pots for 6 weeks and the roots have filled the space ect.
If I now transplant to larger...won't I loose bud growth time while roots form?
If I now transplant them to larger, takes more space ect.
so there's the:
1) just leave them be and finish as is
2) pull out root ball, put a few inches of soil in bottom and leave
3) transplant into larger pots (1 gallon is next size I own)
4) Thought of cutting bottom off of the 3.5s and stacking ontop on another 3.5 of soil, thus giving more soil, but not adding width.
I do continual harvest so I've got some other rounds I'm working with as well.
If the standard is 6 weeks...should I then plan to do transplant next round 2 weeks into flowering. Or better to transplant two weeks before setting into F zone?
--------------
This is also a case of "hobby grow"... where if I kept better records of things done in other rounds I'd have empirical evidence ect...but that seems like work! Ha...
