Distance Between Plants

I was planning on setting up a new grow box.
My previous box only held one plant it was a 1' X 1' X 3' box.
How much space would you reccomend between plants?

2x3x6 metal cab and I do 2 plants nice and comfy. If grown smaller I could do more. Depends on how big you wanna go and strain. WW and some others that grow like crazy of course will take more space, dwarf type will take less space. Need to narrow down the variables. Also type of system your using.

I have a 2x2x4' box with 4 plants currently (1 per sq foot) & that seems perfect for my dwarf autoflowers. With a regular indica I would do 2 or 3 plants with no more than a month veg time, or 1 sativa dominant plant with no more than 6 weeks veg & maybe some LST. Since I only have 3.5' roughly of height to work with I have to plan accordingly: indicas can grow 2x+ the size of when they are put into flower & sativas more like 3x+. You can always try LST to keep them short, or normal (single cola) to keep them confined horizontally but either way I'd say 1-2.5 sq feet footprint per plant. In a box your size, I think SOG would be your best bet.

Conventionally I think its 1.5 sq ft per plant per month of veg time. I really constrict mine to about 8 in per plant, because Im heartless. :) And i do a SOG thing. Really personal opinion and tinkering with the height of your setup is the key.
