Hey Everyone I'm here with a few questions and hope you can help me out.

I think I qualify for Medical Marijuana but I'm not sure.

First off I'm underweight and have annorexia, I have loss of appetite, can't eat some days and have extreme stomach cramps once in a while.

would this qualify me? I mean I'm 5'11 and 130 lbs skinny and have had stomach pain my entire life & loss of appetite.

I wanna go and get evaluated but don't wanna lose out on $200 incase they deny me you know so basically What do I need to know?

Thanks alot

If you do not have medical records from seeing your regular Dr. you will most certainly be wasting your time to use one of the MMJ clinics in Wa....depending on what part of Wa. you live in, there are regular Dr.'s whom sign for patients. It is always much better to get your authorization from a regular treating physician, you get an authorization from here: http://www.aclu-wa.org/library_files/Documentation_of_Physician_Authorization.pdf....

Then take it into a regular Dr. whom signs them. If you post which part of Wa. your in, I have had some good luck searching for some who do.

If you do have a medical history and your regular physician won't sign then you will be able to get authorized from the MMJ doctor(s) after producing or releasing your medical history to them. And yes, it depends on where you live in WA. THCF and CBR Medical have different locations within the state. The choice is yours to who you use.

So its required to go to a regular doctor to get recommended for a MMJ License? Or if you where pretty sure u'd quality, you could just go to a clinic?

Basically correct - If you're going to a MMJ specialist, you'll need your very complete medical history with thorough documentation of your ailment. If you have such an ailment, you may be better off going to your normal doctor for a MMJ recommendation - though the clinics that were previously mentioned can help you if you don't want to go to your regular doctor as long as you can provide them the proper medical records. The Clinics should be able to help you make sure you're bringing them the right records, just contact them to make sure you have everything they'll need to see.

I see. I have hand problems for the last 2 years, and the doctors just can't figure it out. I've gotten all my medical records from them, so going to a MMJ doctor would be my next step if I didn't want to ask my regular doctor? I just feel that asking regular doctors wont get you anywhere because they don't seem open to that at all. Some would be biased enough to let you live a life of pain before you'd ever go down this road.
