I have a Vapir one 5.0 that I been using for almost a year now, and I would absolutely love it to death if it was portable, and if it didn't make that irritating fan noise.
I avoided using it at times because I don't want family members questioning the noice. So, now I would like to explore some opinions on some reliable quiet portable vaporizers that have entered the market, to seek for that perfect vaporizer that is just right.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The iolite is also an excellent choice for a portable. Not as quiet as the LB, but someone would have to be in the same room with some quiet to hear the hissing it makes when reheating. Add about 6" or so of vape tubing, put it in a drink cup and you could vape outside in view of a cop or two and not get noticed. It's a little better as a 'vape as you go' device, while the LB is better in quiet places since it's totally silent.

For my money, Magic Flight Launch Box is my primary vape. Got rid of my Vapebros, and my Vapir 5.0 (too much noise). I'm using way less than half the herb, and wasting none. I use the ABV to make firecrackers for that full-body high.

Just got my launch box today :D

I'm very satisfied with my purchase after using it constantly with extra batteries for a long settion with friends.
It does everything I wanted a vaporizer to do.

The heating technique is ingenious, the crafting is wonderful, and I
love the saying in the back...

"Love is that which enables choice always stronger than fear always choose on the basis of love."

That coupon code is for the members at fuckcombustion.com. Hope that you at least pay that site a visit.

Btw, if anyone does plan on using this code, Chris from VapeWorld is going to put aside a percentage of his profits to donate to the earthquake victims in Haiti. More details here, post #36: FC - Vaporizer Forum / Reseller/Retailer/Distributor Thread (http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=171&p=2)

If you're gonna rip this code off from another site, at least get a bit of good karma to balance out the bad by helping out those that are a WHOLE bunch less fortunate than you.

Magic Flight LB replaced all my shit. I keep a glass pipe around for when I forget to charge the batteries.

Can the LB be used with other AA batteries? Seems like 5 min of run time wouldn't last you all day.

You can only use it with NiMH rechargeables. An Alkaline would be drained in a flash.

Seems like 5 min of run time wouldn't last you all day. I've never tested one on continuous connection, so don't know if 5 min. is accurate. But since you only leave the bat connected long enough to get a hit, even 5 min. run time could give you a lot of hits.

I don't know why so many people feel that this vape has battery issues. There's no other vape on the market that can run off an inexpensive AA rechargeable. Buy some extra batteries and keep 'em charged. These bats can also be used in pretty much any device that uses AA size. Thomas Distributing has some great prices on batteries. Look for MAHA. Sanyo is also a good brand.

I love the Magic Flight Launch Box.... I've found if you keep the batteries charged or get other powerful enough batteries with a good charger, you can keep it going for quite a while.

for anyone that doesn't know how it works, i actually have a video on youtube explaining it..

should've gone for the oxygen mini. It's completely silent and you dont need torches or alkaline batteries

Oxygen Mini? Other than the cheap Chinese knock-off vapes, there are more negative reports on ALL Vapir vapes including the Mini than any other vape on the market.

Save your money & get the Iolite portable Vaporizer! It is the volcano of the portable Vaporizers, I put mine in a Mc Donald's Cup and Vape on the go, it's worth the $

As far as the magic flight, that p.o.s. uses a battery & copper to create the vapor, THAT DOES NOT SOUND LIKE SOME SHIT YOU WANNA PUT IN YOUR LUNGS DAY AFTER DAY

Get the iolite, I bought my iolite at Gotvape & they gave me a free comfort care package which allows me to hit my iolite with an extended mouthpiece.

Tell ya what. Go over to the FC site in the following 121 page LaunchBox thread and post a question there regarding your ASSUMPTION that it's an unhealthy vape to use. FC - Vaporizer Forum / The Magic-Flight Box Review (http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=909)

That way, you can get yourself educated to the point of being able to express your opinions based on some kind of facts rather than just an unfounded assumption.

btw, I an also argue, based upon fact and opinions in the following 91 page Iolite thread that it is a POS. FC - Vaporizer Forum / Iolite vaporiser (http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=264)

Besides tons of users that own multiple vapes that are active in those threads, the factories are also there to help answer any of your concerns, so before you go around spouting your POS comments, get yourself educated.

I have the Easy Vape. Works super duper well and it's pretty portable.

For portable use, the Mini uses a battery pack consisting of 10 NiMH rechargeables, so it's much bulkier than the LB. You also get a 90 day warranty, vs. lifetime for the LB. I don't see any worthwhile advantage to the Mini, over the Launch Box.

I have the Easy Vape. Works super duper well and it's pretty portable. It's a box vape and considered a home unit. You can use it in a car, boat, etc. but you need a voltage converter.

I an also argue, based upon fact and opinions in the following 91 page Iolite thread that it is a POS. FC - Vaporizer Forum / Iolite vaporiserI've used an iolite since they first came out. No problems and I use it quite a bit. Also use the LB. IMO both have their pluses and minuses as a portable vape. I strongly disagree that either is a POS. The iolite can be picked up on eBay anytime for $150-160 these days-a much better deal than the original $250 price.

i know. Im one of those guys that bought the product to find out first hand instead of relying on online reports.

I guess i got one of the good units that has no bad taste.

Conversely, everyone rants and raves about the iolite and i, for the life of me, cant figure out how or why these things are so popular. Theyre expensive, cheaply made and a pain in the ass to use.

As "cheap" as the oxygen might be, at least its easy to operate. I havent had any problems with mine.
