wow lol....
H O U S T O N â?? A Houston woman may be wondering whether she'll be able to have mayonnaise on her hamburgers in prison.
Last week, Waynetta Nolan, 37, was convicted of aggravated assault and sentenced to 10 years in prison for running over a McDonald's manager after she found out she couldn't get mayonnaise on her cheeseburger.
In April, Nolan was in the drive-through lane during a lunchtime rush period at McDonalds and ordered two double cheeseburgers, Super Size French Fries and a drink.
After being told she couldn't get mayonnaise on her burgers, Nolan became enraged, witnesses said. The victim, Sherry Jenkins, offered Nolan a burger made to her other specifications, but the woman still wasn't satisfied and threw the burger back through the drive-through window.
Jenkins called the police, who told her to write down Nolan's license plate number. When Jenkins stepped out into the drive-through lane, witnesses said, Nolan accelerated her car and hit her.
Jenkins was knocked onto the hood of the car before she fell beneath the car and was dragged briefly. She suffered a broken pelvis and internal injuries.
Nolan, who was six months pregnant at the time of the incident, could not explain her behavior at her sentencing hearing.
"I was going through a bad time in my life," she said. "I was having a lot of problems."
The judge was less than impressed over Nolan's burger tirade.
"I can't imagine or think of anything more ridiculous than this," state District Judge Brock Thomas told Nolan. "I sure hope it was worth it, because you'll have 10 years to think about it."
Nolan could have been sentenced to up to 20 years in prison. She could be eligible for parole in five years.
