I use GH bramd but of course that is the same brand nutes I use. I really doubt you would need PH up but then again I dont know your water. I also use the liquid form. 16 drps per gal puts my tap at 5.8

I also use GH brand up/down. I rarely use the UP. Sometimes if im adjusting the solution and I have recently medicated I will have to correct using too much of the down with a tad of up.

This is the answer to no more Ph problems,it only costs money to be cutting edge

actually I have decided to order a controller from a different place
HANNA BL 7916 pH Controller + Dosing Pump, BL7916 (http://www.eseasongear.com/hablblphcopu.html)
this unit is much better, uses a pump instead of a solinoid valve, it has proportional dosing, slows down as it approaches your set Ph value. so it doesn't over dose.
when everything is correct in veg. the Ph should be on a constant rise
needing Phed down. during flower with the right reciepe it can be held constant but usually it drops due to the high Phosphorus levels, and needs uped.
still trying to figure why everyone says(including me)that the proper Ph level is around 5.8, when all of the lititure I can find says 6.0 is correct to keep ALL of the Ca and Mg available.
I have at times had spots that made me thing it was a Mg diff. so I'm moving up to 6.0 and will keep you all posted on my findings.
