Nice pics! yummy

Those trics look slightly cloudy to me (could be blurr), However if still cloudy they are not quite done but really close. You want all those to turn from cloudy to AMBER. Then cut.

BTW are you currently flushing? If your within say 11 days of harvest and you used nutes, You should flush before harvest.

I sure hope mine look that good some day.

That should be mostly all cloudy with a few amber and a few clear for peak potent. Mostly amber will be one hell of a stone but not last as long because your past peak.

Cool! I read on many sites to wait for amber. Your post makes perfect sence though.

I read on another site about the "breakdown" of Cannabinoids. It said something about some of the plants compounds converting to two other compounds from "THC". One having an extending effect. The other having no effect at all! Yet this first compound had little effect on it's own(without THC). It made most trial users claim a longer high.

So thanks LOC NAR. I won't forget that!

Still a noob, but I read all I can find.

No problem you are helping. You have alot of info and it just takes time to weed through it. Keep helping.

I have a question about all this too. It is my first grow as well, btw. I have these plants (purple kush) that are getting really close. Ok, here is my question: do I wait til the trichs are amber and then flush?

Right now they are not amber theyre still clear. If I wait til they are amber will they pass their "prime" or will they be okay?

Sorry to bother but it is something that i have searched adn searched with no luck. With them being fem clones when i got them I have no idea how long they take to bloom. This guy just fed them the basic tap water fish shit and bloom enhancer. I am using the AN line, with great results! so I figure nothing will be the same as far as time in flower.

As of now, my plan is this: allow them to turn amber and then flush. After flushing leave them for another week or so to "finish" and then harvest, cure.

Any suggestions...Loc Nar, Vancefish, Rubberblubber........
Much appreciated!!!

Thanks, man. Right now they are clear and I want to flush them and let them flourish for about a week (what i have read). Will they continue to amber with water alone? How big of a window do they have?

These things are beautiful and Purple Kush...God I love them like they are people!!! Man, I am sorry for being so troublesome....I have since 11/20/09 invested in these and don't wanna mess them up now. I can't afford to...literally!! :stoned:

Most people say to flush something like the last 10-14 days before harvest. Flush can mean just water or with a flushing agent.

So, if you think you'll harvest within the next two weeks you should likely start flushing soon. If your going to harvest sooner,... Get on it! :D

I am in the 5th day of flush, only Ph-ed water for the last 10 days. thats when they really swell, they can put on half of their weight during this time.change the water daily or so. this crop is cuttings from the last stuff pictured.I'll post a few new photos tomorrow.right now mine are milky.
the amber color is actually the THC compounds oxidizing and it will happen without nutrients :D

lol you forgot you had an eyeclops... lol and lol again... how can you forget such a thing when there are trichomes to view?

Quite frankly, I think they are one of the coolest gadgets around.

Plants look lovely too
