I've been "addicted" before, in that I would get bored and do it anyway. I just picked up a new hobby and accidently quit for 3 weeks lol. Easiest thing in the world.

Basically what I'm saying is that it becomes part of the routine, so find something else you like to fill that time.

Well it's prob not helping you want to quit if you live with another stoner. Why do you have to quit anyway? Ultimately, it's up to you bro, if you have to quit, then you have to make it happen. No one can help you but yourself. The only advice i can give you is just suck it up and go cold turkey coz it sounds like you need to. Focus on your family and friends and things you enjoy. Music, food, sports, woman. Books maybe? It;s gonna be tough coz you're gonna be thinking about it all the time so try and take your mind off it as best you can. Get off this site, coz talking to stoners is gonna make you wanna blaze.

Sleep, lots of it. Can't smoke when you sleep lol. Sounds stupid but it's helped me with quite a few things like that, sleeping 15 hrs a day...Main thing is, like was mentioned above, YOU have to want it. You might say you need to quit but your brain's still saying it's ok. So, until you get it engrained in your head that you really can't afford to fail this test, you won't feel the need to quit.

And I prefer the term "habit forming" to addictive in this sense. Like was mentioned, it's not per-say chemically addictive (that we can find yet), but some people have a high predisposition to addiction and anything can become habit forming in these individuals...Bad habits are often termed addictions even when they are not, it's all about whether or not it interferes with your daily life in negative ways. Marijuana should never be abused to the point of smoking pounds of it, the good is all lost by that point and you're quite likely putting yourself at serious risk down the road.

I was going to quit so i could join the cia as a machinist. but they do alot of test and a security clearance to make the parts, so i can't help them. But i might someday b/c it sound pretty cool to make tank parts or new airplane parts. So my point is i would rather smoke than be rich i guess. i dont care no more about money, fuck it. Just work and enjoy life, marijuana does that for me so why quit it? Take pills? hell no. So this is the debate you only want to quit b/c of a drug test not b/c you want to quit. I just wish Bush didn't go and start a war so I could be making about 50k+ a year as an army/navy pencil pusher right now! Oh well, 20k is still livable for me with added income from the snakes & soon from the fiancée...plus I get to grow and enjoy the freedom they supposedly provide for us!

I aced mine for the Air Force back in 77. Back then, urinalysis for pot was too expensive and the Air Force wasn't testing for that. So, about 60 or 70 percent of the Force was toking. Damn inexpensive test screwed that to hell.

Federal Service is a good way to go. Many of the organizations (such as mine) do not random pee test, believe it or not. Make good money and a Fed job is pretty much rock solid in an insecure economy.

Heh, by the time I interviewed for my job I had grown out my hair and beard. I almost cut it, but then said "what the hell." They hired me anyway. Man you should have seen the looks I used to get, had to wear my ID card around so folks knew I actually belonged there. :D

id say tell him to smoke outside and if you smoke cigarettes whenever you feel the need for a toke light up a cigarette instead thats what i did and its working for me if the clucking takes over have one or two tokes then go to sleep the longer you dont smoke it for you will not like it after a while anyway the feeling is hightened more so this is why i dont like toking anymore lol

What 50k snakes are you talking about? The most any snake will go for is around 15k that I ever have heard of. I wasnt talking about snakes being 50k. If you read what I posted, how do you get ball pythons? That would be a ripoff to sell them @ 75 for one, they are more like $20 snakes and they will NEVER get anywhere near 2 dozen babies. BTW, the most expensive snake ever sold was the first blue eyed leucistic ball python at well over 100k(priced at $150,000 to the public)...There's close to a dozen different kinds of snakes right now that are worth around 50k. Go to a reptile show if you want to see a mass market, not to mention a little on pricing. Yes the ball market dropped out a few years ago, but the industry as a whole is still doing alright for a luxury item in this recession if you know where to look. And to answer your question, it's reticulated and rock pythons that I keep but I don't think you sound mature enough to own one unless I got your parent's written and verbal consent.
