Hello everyone I'm ready to build my closet and my work space is 4ft 10 in x 2 feet x 8 feet. I was thinking to split the closet into two areas, one 3 feet tall and one 5 feet tall. Having the smaller area be the veg and the bigger for flower. I'm thinking of putting in a 400watt hps for flower and 150w fluros for veg. For ventilation I want to use a 435cfm inline to vent out the 400w and the flower room with using passive intake into the veg that vents into the flower.
This is all hypothetical at this point and just wanted any pointers or opinions.
Thanks again

The big thing is getting rid of light leaking from veg chamber into flower through the passive intake...Don't need any plants turning hermie on ya!

i was playing around with the same idea to be used on the system i got but came to the same conclusion that Redtails mentioned. i couldnt find a cheap way to vent both units and keep light pollution away from the girls on top.. if you find an effective cheap method please post it as i will emulate asap.

ok so what u do is....
you have to make 2 selves an inch apart from each other, then u put a vent at
one end "lets say the lefts side" on the top shelf. then on the shelf below that
one, which will be the roof of ur other chamber, put a vent on the right side.
so u will have roughly a 3 foot gap in between the vents. then u can seal it
with calk, u can cover up the front inch gap ur going to see between the
shelves with white poster paper
so you pretty much are making a 1 inch 4 foot air duct
then put a passive vent at the bottum and mount ur fan at the top next to ur
light
problem solved
let me know how that works
