Has anyone got any data on what the system currently spends per year for:
1. Law enforcement undercover and normal operations aimed at catching someone with weed.
2. Governmental cost to detain, try, defend, and eventually send to incarceration.
3. The cost of the incarceration.
4. The cost of the probation.
5. The cost of years of productivity lost by the individual.
It is looking to me that the only way to have any real impact on the national deficit is to legalize and tax the stuff. For crying out loud what is it going to take to open the eyes of people in this world????
*gets off soap box*
