reality isn't as real as you might think. When you think something is real, doesn't that make it real for you. This question sounds like it is born from a need to understand consciousness. That makes me giggle a little, because using thought to delineate consciousness doesn't work to well. How can one think about something, and extract any sense of "real" from that. It's just a thought. A thought isn't even real once it is enacted as an action. Is a balloon still a balloon if you don't know to call it that? What would it be without it's name? What would you call it? That could be more real than what you have been told it is. What if a balloon wanted to be called a Greep? But people didn't like that name, so they called it a balloon, ignoring its pleas to be heard as a Greep. LOL! This is fun.

i understand that. is it possible that some people are more conscious or have a better perspective when they are high then when they are sober? i see so many flaws in my sober life when I'm high.

IS IT THAT YOU ARE RELAXED WHEN YOU ARE BUZZED AND THEREFORE ARE WILLING TO ADDRESS THE FLAWS IN QUESTION AND NOT IN the act of criticizing unfavorably;)

Reality is only a complete MATRIX.
And yes you are better when your HIGH.

:smokin: that reminds me of when i was learning a.i. in college and trying to read about the process of reading in humans, and all that goes on for it to happen. but i had a hard time concentrating on what i was reading because i was so focused on the process of reading itself . . . :stoned: ahh college, trust me kids, don't ever graduate. :bonghit:

This is what trips me out all the time, what we see, is only what we see because of the reflections of what the object is, AND because the way our eye cells are constructed. So through other animals eyes possibly, everything looks different, and in ACTUALITY everything is the exact opposite color that what it appears. Take physics and it will trip you out.

Reality is only a complete MATRIX.
And yes you are better when your HIGH.
And now you need to define a complete MATRIX IN TERMS THAT SATISFY THE FIRST:D

Reality is only what two or more people agree upon as real. It may be slightly different for each of us, but where these areas intersect is reality.

"Reality" is a subjective and relative term used to lable the occuring experiences of Human kind...
Notice many people have defined "reality" in many different ways... So, does this make one person's reality more defined than another's?.. Nope.
Also, we as Humans cannot make sense of all the countless signals/waves our bodies catch and miss from the universe.
Infrared, for example. The human eye cannot detect this type of light.. BUT it still exist!
So how can we talk about "Reality" when we havent experienced everything?
Ignorant monkeys, we are.
