HELP 600watt HPS not working

well i recently bought a 600watt HPS with approximately everything cuz i bought it as a gear pack.

Its got a 600watt lightbulb, a ballast (which has got 4 holes labeled 1,2,3 and 4, 1.2m cable with three circuits (brown, red and yellow with green), etc

the problem is i dont know how to where or how to link the circuits and the last time i tried i almost ended up killing myself :(

I really need it to work in few days oh and the circuits are really short which makes me think i should buy circuits

please help me
