I was given one so i have a ezcloner 30 setup.

I dont use it..

Could I take the mister and put it in my rubbermaid dwc container and turn that to aero? by lowering the water height?

The net pots are only 3" or 4" right now so I think thats about right.

Let me know if this might work. or if you can link me to someones similar setup.

It will work. Use a thin nutrient and not some goopy shit like flora-nova. It could clog, but probably not.

Why don\'t you just use the EZ cloner for making clones and build an aero set-up. All it takes is a rubbermaid container, a submersible pump around 396 gph, 1/2 inch PVC, appropriate fittings to mate to the pump and ez cloner 360 sprayers. There are lots of resources for specific build designs and you should be able to put something together for around a $100. It\'s really not that hard to do and doesn\'t take too many tools, with the most expensive being a hole saw and mandrel you\'ll need to make holes in the top of the rubbermaid container for your net pots.

If you go this way, make sure to mix you nutes somewhere in the range of 40-50% of the manufacturers recommended strength. This is because in an areo system you\'re applying the nutrients directly to the roots.

Good luck.

the ez cloner is very easily replicated from home depot supplies other then the shape of the containers. The point is, that the misters and pumps are all available. The short answer is yes, you can convert your DWC to an aero very easily with those parts. I run something very similar to this. I have a 10 or 15 gallon res and used to keep the water level at around 8 inchs or 5 gallons. In short I was keeping the DWC portion of my system to a minimum but recently I decided to put more water in there like your talking about reducing. The idea was to get my roots to the water faster. I only have about 6 inches worth of roots out of water in addition to the pots. This low pressure misters work on this portion of my roots only while the rest of the roots sit below the water line. I use 2 long air stones to keep the water oxygenated for those roots that sit in the water all day, but the misters will do plenty to oxygenate the water as well. I just find that any time I get a tap root to settle into a pool of water, they do so much better.

Can you show me pics of your setup?! that would be AWESOME!

sure:

thread with pics (http://boards.cannabis.com/hydroponics/178289-my-radiator.html)

Rather then waste hard drive space on their server I decided to just give you the link where I posted the pics previously. It should give you a real good idea of what I did. I'm not terribly happy with the results but it does seem to function well. I'm pretty anal though so I will likely end up building something from scratch to be able to include a fogger I have too. The water level that you see is before I decided to raise it. I wanted the misters to still work so the water level is a couple inches below the misters.

I was looking at pics of what I think you have. I think you best bet would be to simply gut the ez cloner and put everything into a new tub that fits everything. Those misters appear to come attached on a floating block, dont they? Seems like the only hard thing left to do is go find a res.

Is switched them to the DWC rubbermaid bucket and put the EZ Cloner misters in and they are kickin ass.

I need a timer that can adjust the misters on/off times more. I have a digital timer but only allows 8 settings a day. I was thinking of doing 1 minute on 3 off. any one know a good place to find a timer I can setup like that? Or would a 15 on 45 off work too?

They are clearly getting a little to much water the big sativa is drooping and the leaves have been curling under for the past month or so. actually its whole life they have been curling under like crazy finger nails.

The Top 44 is doing good. Already seeing some small trich production and alot of white hairs. Ill post pics today.
