Greetings all, wondering here if I can get good results mixing cowshit with my soil for my outdoor grow.

Anybody tried it? Good results? :rasta:

Cheers,
CCB

I wouldn't suggest it, esspecially for indoor grows. The bugs/parasites/smell/etc. would be horrible.

I would consider a 20% mix for outdoor plants, but even then only after the manure has been properly composted for a long time.

Not too mention, the cow crap may be too "hott" for the soil, meaning it could burn your plants up. I would only recommend using that outside! Buy some organic ferts instead. Like mentioned above the other one will just bring in bugs and possible parasites. You want to stray away from bringing those in your home.

I believe the question was for outdoor growing ... in that case, if using natural steer fertilizer, I would pay a bit extra for some premium brand, that may be less likely to contain weed seeds, insect eggs, etc ... I would ask your local nursery for advice, tell 'em you're gonna grow tomatoes, they are similar in needs ... :smokin:

?

LOL

I'm in the Philippines, nobody sells or buys cow fertilizer. We go to the pastures with a bucket and a shovel.

I got a microwave though, I guess I could give it a zap in the nuker to kill the critters. Wonder how bad that'll smell?
