Hi there, been using the forum for years now but hardly ever post up (not too sure why, more of a reader then a poster i suppose) but i started growing with what i learnt from the forum and now i think i may need some opinions..
I'm using 6 X 20w Cfls 2700K's
2 Plants from bagseed in there final pots
Vegged for 2 1/2 months and now on the 4th week of flowering
Using Biobizz's Bio-Bloom at medium strength

As i said earlier i am on my 4th week of flowering but my flowers look well small.. Am i right in thinking this or do they tend to fatten up in the last weeks OR do i just not have sufficient lighting ?

Is it worth me buying another 5/6 bulbs now ? ( Would it make that much difference in this grow or should i wait till my next grow ? )

I have searched around and read other grows etc.. But i want readers to view my pics and hopefully get some feedback on them

Sorry about the dodgy pics.. Better ones to come later :)
Cheers

Your plants look very sativa dominant, so it's not uncommon to have skimpy buds right now if it's going to take 10+ weeks for that thing to finish...

Yeah if you can it will definitely help. Never grown something that big myself except outdoors, but I know those CFLs don't really cover too much area especially without reflectors. What're your temps like? The bulbs don't put out that much heat but it can still jump 5-10 degrees even with only a couple more.

definitely get more bulbs! even with more bulbs you will still get light, airy buds. it's just the nature of the beast.

i do agree with redtails that they look sativa dominant. you might want to invest in some indica/indica dom beans after this experience. they will stay shorter, bushier and flower faster.

do you have a fan to circulate the air and simulate wind? they look a little skimpy in the stems.

also, keep the CFLs within 1-4" for maximum efficiency.

good growing!

Yeah well i didn't want to end up being one of those people who spend loads on a grow but then just lose interest and spoil a few plants so i thought i would just grow some bagseed on a cheap one.
But i'm now thinking of getting a hps for my next grow, do you think that a 450W is a bit much for a 2nd grow ? It will most likely be for 3 indica dominant plants
Im growing in my wardrobe which is 7ft high, 3ft wide, 3ft deep..

I have a tower fan to circulate the air but nothing to bring fresh air in, i just leave the door open and its next to a big window ( don't have any trouble with smell to be honest )

My temps are in the low-mid 70s F so i think i can go with a few more bulbs, will go buy them today and then post some pictures up in a few days

Thanks for the advice guys

400w sounds perfect for that space. I suggest a remote ballast becuase those things get hot and heavy(lol) to hang. Might want to get an exhaust fan also to battle the heat, it doesn't seem like much with a few CFL's now but when you get to that high of wattage(400w HPS) it can build up quickly. And if you do give up, there are many people that would buy the used setup off you, so you can make at least some of your money back.
