I'm a newbie, some have welcomed me as "ol fart" and "geezer" lol and that's cool, hey I'm 62 and no spring chix. I just want to be able to partake in some of the great looking herb that can be "grown on your own" before the 'ol grass is growing on top of me.
I've been checking out superclosets (lots of cash and heavy) and other options including the fabric style offered by GrowLab. They look intriging for the cash outlay and convenience. I'm looking at a smaller one, the GL 120.
Does anyone have any experience with these types of grow rooms.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Aloha ElvisG.
Nevah bought a grow tent, but I've built a few.
Scissors, tape, and bubble-mylar are all you really need.
If you expect to hang fans and lights, you'll also need a frame.
No want horse bumpin into cart inna dark, so...;)
How much room you got to play with and what equipment have you gathered so far?:)

Overall, the basement area is about 18'X20'. I have 400w hps lighting and a hydro sys that uses lava rocks. I was considering the Growlab GL120 w the accessory Kit that has a Can Fan 4" Centrifugal fan coupled with a carbon filter (Can-Filter 9000). I realize it would be more economical to make my own but this unit has the frame and the fan to make it a little easier on my first attempt. I was going to exhaust directly into the open area of the room. With just this 4" exhaust fan do you believe I'll be able to keep temp down during the veg state of around 18 hours?:(

I have used a similar grow tent/ fan filter system for a few grows now and love the isolation and control it allows me with little hassle. I've been using LEDs that have considerably less heat than a HID rig, you might need a cooled (air vented) hood to keep temps down depending on what temerature supply air you can provide.
