View Full Version : Can I use my MH during Veg and Flowering?

So I already got a 150w MH pendant and was wondering. Can I use it for both vegging and flowering? Just wait till the plants are about the height I want then switch to the 12/12. I know this probably won't yield like the pro's but I just can't afford a two different light setups.

Okay so I got a deal on a 150w HPS system and was wondering. I was thinking: use the MH for Veg and then switch to the HPS during flowering. Or would it be best to leave the MH on along with the HPS during the flowering stage.

Use both if your grow environment can handle the extra heat. Basically there may be some stretch or less stretch from adding or not adding the extra MH during Flower.

Yea, don't do that. It's best to be giving these plants as much as possible all the time. If anything you'd want more energy in Flowering.

do the MH for veg, add the HPS for flowering. Just keep an eye on temps and focus on proper watering/feeding and temps.

You've got enough energy in there.
