I grew a plant in a 5 gallon once for about a month, it went male and when i pulled it there were so many roots! It would effect your yield il bet. 1 in a 5 gal. each, they would get huge:thumbsup:, IMO, good luck:rasta:

there are two reason i did this....
1. I can sex plants like a mofo and catch them at the earlyest stages i plan on writing an article about this. I have alot of loops and magnification equipment to do so. So if one or two turn male i can kill them and keep the female before cross pollination.
2. I am lasy and dident want to kill them it was too late to pull them they would die and roots are already tangled i would asume. I guess I am playing poker but if they all turned out to be fem then I would need advise from that point of no return.
I hope I get 1 good female in each planter without transplanting them because that stress I heard can hermi them. and I dont want huge plants I dont have the light or space for them these things are growing like lowriders so i don't think they will need much space it confines them in a sense i hope. but i know i messed up I think..... but could my method work????:vap_smiley:

I also have two plants in one 5 gallon bucket. I was in about the same position as you , and didnt want to pull one in fear of effecting the other since the roots are likely a tangle... I have been LST'ing them so that one doesnt overcrowd the other, so far so good. I veg'd them for 4 weeks and now they are 8 days into 12/12, no definite sex yet, but soon i think.
Only issue ive found so far with 2 in 1 is that they can drink the bucket dry pretty quickly.:rastasmoke:

Yeah i saw them when the mirrors were in there and noticed. I sprout my seeds n one big pot then transplant them. Its easy if you get something down deep under the main roots and carry over the soil surrounding them into a bigger pot.
But i once grow 2 plants that got over 4' in a flower planter type thing, so ya never know, but good luck:rasta:
