i submitted my doh application and all accompanying medical records two weeks ago today. how long is it taking people to get a card? are they rejecting people "just because they can", even if all of the medical records are in place, or is it kind of just a signature once they have what they need? anyone?

I SPOKE WITH A MAN IN THE OFFICE FRIDAY AND WAS TOLD THAT A NEW DIRECTOR COME IN AND THAT THEY ARE AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEHIND. I HAVE BEEN WAITING 33 DAYS. WHEN YOUR TIME HITS 21 DAYS CALL; i'M TOLD ALSO THAT THEY ARE GETTING OVER A HUNDRED CALLS A DAY. YOU CAN CALL TOMORROW JUST TO CHECK.

It took me a year, but I doubt that that is typical.

a year??? was your application complete when your first submitted it? did the state hassle you about your condition? that really seems excessive, but i'm glad you stuck it out.

No,there were some comunication issues between DOH and my MD.
I would think that it would take from 30-90 days normally.
