Kia ora!! first time grower here, noticed some two spotted mites munching away at my plants! Sprayed with an organic spray called "Spray Safe". Done the job with th mites but now my plant is all droopy and curled up like its got a hangover!! Does anyone have any info for me to get my plant up and back to good form, Using a recycled water system and only one plant seems to be suffering, mind you is a different strain from the rest. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Could some of the bug spray dripped off plant and got into resevouir causing the droopiness of plant?

You used a actual pesticide? What I use believe it or not is some tobasco with a tiny bit of dish soap dilluted into one of those dollar store spray bottles for like ironing and such? and that always does the trick with them and it doesnt harm the plant any they will get waxy of course for a while but the mites will not stick to that plant

Also another thing you can prevent mites from ever getting anywhere near your plants if you have eneough fans blowing in there ive got a huge metal fan and another small plastic one both on opposite ides of the grow so the plants are always swaying and getting airflow what that does it prevent the mites from even having a chance to bed down on your ladies!

ahh read it again you said the mite problem is gone well..if youve got them on ONE plant the others are more than likely going to have them and it only takes one to get it infested id spray them all to be safe and the plant will recover on its own the mites (was there webbing?) suck the chlorophil from the plants kinda like a vampire sucking our blood just give it a bit and dont mess with it id put some dilluted vit B in that one which always seemed to help my tomato and jalapeno plants when they had the nasty little buggers

Cheers for the info!! No didnt use a actual pesticide, got from a hydro store but thought it a tad dodgy to go back and ask why they affected my weed plants like that!:rastasmoke: And sprayed all plants but only one drooped like an old lady without a bra. At the mo am giving it no light and water what so ever on advice from another website. Am going to ditch the spray and go with the tobasco and soap and see how that goes if the mites come for another visit. Do you think keep the water/nutes and lights going or give the poor bugger a rest to get back into shape? Another thought was too much humidity? But then again only drooped the day after I sprayed:(

I would just move it from the other plants as far as you can while its still gettin light id give it 100% light not 0 Do you have two seperate rooms? agh...im kinda not wanting to give any info because if theres even ONE mite left on that thing you know? like if you move it to ur cloning room if its got one it might nail all ur clones (mites honestly scare me more than the boogie man and cops ever did)

If its drooping and ur lettin it rest that much its proably gonna cycle to budding and that eats up even more of the plants already diminished reserves

hope it doesnt turn into a hermy becasue of the light changes I didnt even know they did that until a year ago rofl

If it was me and it was only the one id probably just kill it and be done with it but I dont know your situation

If you are anywhere remotely close to ontario oregon id give you a SLH for free man to replace it and thats the truth. mites scare the shit out of me lol

ahh and as to the humidty you really dont want ANY humidty whatsoever the dryer you can keep their evnironmnt the more sugar they pour out onto the stems and buds etc to protect the plant from the dry ;) ive got my ladies in a desert man lol
