Salvia extracts/tinctures

What exactly is a tincture(sp) made from salvia?? and how do you use it? is it better than extracts?

from what i understand, a tincture is a liquid extract that you can put onto fresh leaves for chewing or quids? Not sure though

That's right, tincure means a drug dissoleved in alcohol, you let it absorb in your mouth, but you'd be way better off smoking it.
