Ok my little girl is on day 21 of flowering and showing about 50 differant bud spots. But my problem is she is streching like crazy! she over 3 foot tall and about a inch away from hitting the lights. How long is she going to stretch for? She has already trippled in size, and i want her to worry more bout budding. i have pics of her for ya but need so tips on slowing the stretch!

Are those CFLs you're using? How many watts/lumens you got in there? Maybe not enough light.

Well i have 8-40 watt cfls 4-26watts and 2-13 watts for side lighting.iI really dont think its the lights as i move the plant down a notch to accomidate the growth, so the lights are never more than a inch or 2 away.I have about 500 watta of cfls in a cabinet 2' wide 16inches deep and 4' tall and it very light proof. Maybee some of the stretch is from transplanting from a 1 gallon pot to a 4 gallon pot 2 days b4 flowering. Anyway she grew another half inch last night instead of 2 inches so maybee thats a good sign.....we will see i guess. As far as lumens go. I have over 30k lumens. So i think for the space im growing in that is not to bad. This is my first grow so feel free th chime in!:rasta:

use more CFL's with a kelvin temp of 5000k to 6500k to help reduce stretch...although it might too late to do any good now...something to try next time..

I would tie/bend them over some, with a loose string.

something like this: lets the lower leaves get more light & start growing, too
