I could use some advice is this indica or sativa if you can tell. and I could use some lighting and nutrient tips for plants this size, I am on a budget so cfls and the local hardware store advice would be of most help. I use low and high spectum cfls in combination total lumens is well over 12,000 i would say. soil is spagnum peat moss, pro mix, perilite, worm castings, epsom salt, blood meal, lime, sand and love. plus some walnut essence. they are on a 18/6 cycle. ph is at 7 and NPK is good for now. i f you see somting i need let me know

18/6 is good. but i would put it up to 24 hours in a few weeks after the roots develope. for fastest plant growth during veg the lights should be on for 24 hours. although dark time is essental for good root growth. after you think the roots are well developed i would increase the light

24's ok till you want to flower. It's really preference there, 18/6 is used because of heat and electricity issues. I've never had problems with 24hrs light in veg...
As for the leaves, wide ones like that are usually indica-indicative. Lol, just wanted to say that.
And the mirror's not going to reflect too much really, better with flat white paint. Reason is that the actual reflective part is the backing so the light has to travel through the glass before bouncing back so it's having to penetrate the glass twice.

I was going to point out that the mirrors aren't doing what you think they are doing. If anything about the only good it's doing is raising temps. If your room is cool or you are running a space heater, then leave the mirrors, otherwise I would suggest you use nothing as there is plenty of research that shows that mirrors don't reflect the kind of light your wanting. White paint, white plastic film, heck even tin foil is probably better then a mirror. Something to do with the silver paint that is used to make a mirror only absorbs light or some shit.
You can purchase panda film really cheap and in a quantity needed to surround your grow which is white on one side and black on the other. It;s a pretty useful product for many reasons I find.

yea it is cool and cfls are cool so it does help keep it right at 75 this winter. but i think i could get away with putting up some panda. especially when i add the hps. thanks:thumbsup:

The mirror is definitely not ideal. Flat white paint is the easiest/cheapest and very reflective. Mylar is the best, but cost you more. Mirrors are poor reflectors of light and have potential to burn your plants (hot spots). I'd say lights on for 24 hours while vegging. If you were using a MH HID light, then I'd say cut it back to 18/6. Any other light, and they need as many light hours as possible.
