okay well i suppose i didnt fully think this out, lesson learned. im growing a single purple kush plant and a single green cush plant in a single storage tote DWC method. Now they are both exactly 5 weeks into flowering today. Clearly the green cush is a quick flowerer, with about two weeks left to go. The purple kush has got prob 4 to 5 weeks left. Heres my predicament, the roots of both plants have completely formed into a one inch thick root mat, making it impossible to separate the two. How do i start the flush phase of just one of the plants when they share the same reservoir? the purple kush needs to continue its current strength feed, while the green cush needs to be flushed for two weeks. i would appreciate any feedback

flush for a week.
trim the buds off the green
go back to flowering nutes
leave the green live so the roots dont die and skank your reservoir.
let us know how it goes, whatever you do.

Or you can cut the roots. Not for the faint of heart. I think if you look up my name or just the first part. You will find a thread where Zandor had me take one out of a container of 6 and cut the roots off about 3 inches still in the water and compair how it does to the rest. Well it was no more than a few days behind the others and did quite well. I had to dose up on the hydrogen peroxide for the last 4 weeks to help with the roots rotting that were left but no real rot ever started. The cooler the water the longer it takes to start rot.
