I am new to this whole growing thing. I'm learning as I go with just a few plants in a flower pot under some cfl's. They have been on 12/12 for almost 2 weeks and I'm not sure of the sex. Where there should be pre-flowers coming out it has just been another leaf branch. Am I missing something or is it too soon to tell? The pics may not be clear enough.

how many nodes did the plants have before you switched them to 12/12? were they from seed?
cannabis is sexually mature from seed when the plants have opposite leaves. many call them opposite, although this isn't the the correct term. if you notice, when the seedlings are young the fan leaves and branches are coming out directly across from each other, or opposite. as they get bigger, they start to get staggered, or alternating. once they start alternating the plant is sexually mature and can be placed into flower.
also, you want one plant per pot.....period. the roots can become inter-tangled and one will suffer while the other strives usually.
good growing!

They are from seeds and If I'm not mistaken, 3 to 4 nodes before switching to 12/12.
I understand about 1 plant per pot, I have another grow box already started for that. I'm just watching to see how they grow and what to look out for.
Thanks

They are growing opposite, not alternate...what's the difference?
