I decided to look for some new dispensaries just to see what was out there.
I checked prices on 1 dispensary in Lafayette, and 2 in Louisville. Without joining any clubs, it looks like everything is over $20 a gram, and the best break for an OZ is $400.
I *DO* emphatically believe that market forces should rule. Now, in Louisville, we have two dispensaries who are in the same shopping center, and they have basically price-fixed. If you want to avoid driving to Boulder, you are going to pay!
End the moratoriums and consumers will keep those that deserve to be in business in business.
There is nothing wrong with making money. Profitability keeps quality high and competition keeps prices fair.
