Whats up fellow plant lovers....I have been following this forum for couple of months and decided to give it a shot, but need some help. Started with stash seeds for first time, flo's and miracle gro. I have eight to start and have kept a close eye on PH, still in veg. state 35 days and plants look great, But, the edges of the leaves on the tops of certain plants have started to curl upward down the length of the leaf. Is this the start of something bad or what? I've followed all of excellent advice you guys are putting out, just don't want to screw up now.......any help would be great...much appreciated..... :(

it almost sounds like a touch of heat stress, you have a pic?

Borrowing a camera, will have soon. The tops of my plants are 3 to 4 inches below my flos, there are 6 tubes-4ft long. There is very little heat, is there enough to cause this?

i doubt if its heat from the lights from what you described. try to get a pic or 2 and maybe remember something you might have tried or done(feeding, etc), someone here will be able to help your little girls get better.

Could be a nutrient issue. Most often it is over fertilizing. Heat, over watering and under watering can cause issues as well.

What about this! I tried a plant food for the first time within the last 10 days called Power Plant from Botanicare 3-1-4 Grow, could this be the problem? I used it half strength, really diluted. Thanks for all the help, much apreciated.

I doubt if that is it, not at half strength, if that was an issue, there would most likely be some discoloration or burning as well. now is it v'd or more of a curl? are the edges curling upwards and over? with no pic, its hard to tell. by v'd, i mean more like a v shape? watch it and see if it gets worse. post again if there is a problem, someone will help you. be cool.

It is alot like a V shape, there is no discoloration or burnt tips. Plant otherwise looks very healthy. Think this is normal? Will have pics soon, trying to borrow a camera. By the way, there is only one plant showing this condition. Probably over-reacting, spent alot of time on my babies, you know how it is.......info much apreciated....

lol, I am seriously thinking that there is nothing wrong at all. You and your babies are doing fine. better safe than sorry tho. just watch them for a while and you will see that it is just a characteristic of the plant. its normal. be paitient and you will have real live buds soon. good luck.

It's been a couple of days and I think that she is just reaching for more light. Gave her straight water and she is still growing and looking good. You guys are the best, thanks.........If you get bored, I posted another thread on pruning, your help is much apreciated, later......
