Help with Sea of Green

Im thinking about switing to Sea of Green method and i cant really seem to find all the answers i am looking for. I have a good general idea but cant ever seem to find any good pictures of the whole process because im not really sure about where and when to trim and if sea of green is suppose to be done with the topping method.
I currently have about 3 1/2 ft x 2ft x 5 ft so i have plenty of height just limited on length and width. How many plants would be ideal in sea of green in that amount of space? Any info from experienced Sea of Greeners is appreciated.

plant numbers will vary depending on things i just smash as much in as i can

--Well im hoping to get as much info as possible from someone experienced...ive read through alot of threads on this site and seems there is always as much if not more fighting than information being giving out...dont get me wrong though there is lots of GREAT info on this site just hard to get through with all the fighting that seems to go on.
--I would like info on if SOG or SCROG would be better in a 2ft x 3.5ft grow area. How many would be ideal for sea of green i have read one per sq ft. so if im correct 6 would be the max with my available area.
--How exactly you go about trimming and is topping only ideal for SCROG? My strain seems to like topping and appears to yield more when topped then when not.
--Any real in depth or pictorial guide to SOG or SCROG would be nice as well if anybody has a link!
